Azovmash claim Cup title

Azovmash outlasted BC Kyiv in a nail-biting Cup Final to clinch the second straight title. Rolandas Jarutis drained two three-pointers late in the game to propel the Mariupol team to a 75:74 victory.
Azovmash kept it in front throughout the first half as Khalid El-Amin and Dijon Thompson made their impact. A three-point bombardment helped Azovmash to keep BC Kyiv at bay in the third frame as well. However BC Kyiv returned into the game early in the fourth stanza as Scoonie Penn put the hosts in charge. Kozachka- ZALK celebrate the Cup title

Kozachka-ZALK showed character and held off pesky Tim-Scuf in the Ukrainian Cup Final. The thrilling game head into overtime where Kozachka-ZALK used all of their experience to ensure a narrow 91:90 victory.

Azovmash and BC Kyiv claimed the Ukrainian Cup Final birth after respective victories in the semis yesterday.
The Superleague defending champions left not a single chance to Pulsar. Rallying to a 24:9 advantage after the opening stanza Azovmash never looked back en route to a comprehensive 84:55 success. Pulsar complete Ukrainian Cup Final Four picture

Pulsar held off Sumykhimpom 85:69 in Rivne to secure the Ukrainian Cup Final Four birth. The hosts enjoyed an 8-point buffer after the road game and gave little hope for Sumykhimprom at home court. Pavel Ulyanko nailed 19 points to topscore for the home team. Roman Gumenuik added 14 points and 11 boards for the winners. Abdullahi Kuso responded with 15 points and 12 boards.

Cup Finals’ Results

Azovmash Mariupol reclaimed the Cup of Ukraine, having defeated BC Kyiv 73:63 to close out the Final 4 in Sumy on Sunday.
Mariupol started the game with an 11:4 run, behind two triples from Rodney Buford and Robert Archibald’s dominance in the paint.

BC Kyiv will face Azovmash Mariupol in a rematch of last year’s Cup of Ukraine Final.
Kyiv defeated hosts Sumykhimprom 75:70 behind 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals from Pooh Jeter.
Sumy zoned up on defense at the start of the game and Kyiv had little difficulty scoring, grabbing a 14:8 lead.

Men’s semifinals are on Friday, featuring defending Superleague champions Azovmash Mariupol versus Politekhnika-Galychyna Lviv (18:00) and current Cup holders BC Kyiv versus the hosts Sumykhimprom (20:30)
